Reading is FUNdamental

I recently borrowed this book:

from Peter and i've been reading & enjoying it.
As you can see in the photo below taken the other day, Heidi looks a bit like Marley but her "behaviours" are nothing like Marley's!! Thankfully!
Has anyone read this book? I'm on Chapter 14, not even halfway done, i think.

Hope everyone has a colorful, flavor-filled weekend.

Love the little pictures. ;)

I read Marley and Me a couple of months ago now. Great book, and yea, I thank the gods that my dogs are as they are, and not any more like Marley. ;) (They both had their moments, of course, but grew out of em for the most part ;)

Lovely picture of Heidi and Peter. :) :)

Make sure to give us a book review. I've picked that book up so many times.

I love the vegparadise site....so cool, love the graphics and all the topics they cover. I was pleased to have them ask me to be a part of their webzine.

Hope all is well K, have a great Sunday, its cold and rainy here tonight, we just got home, another tiring/trying day. Now time for some cooking-therapy LOL

I haven't read it but really want to. I've read a few excerpts that were reprinted in magazines and such and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Have a wonderful weekend Karen!

Tell me if it's sad at the end Kleo. I cry when I read animal stories. Seriously, I do. My friend gave me Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul for Christmas and I blubbered all through it. I know I'll cry, but I want to read them all anyway. I have heard good things about this one. And yes, a review is a must!

I love this book! And veg paradise. Everytime I miss my old Southern CA life, I go to their website and read their restaurant or farmers market reviews. Thanks for your cute post (love your dog!)

I loved Marley & Me. I actually bought the book after I was able to read a few paragraphs from it in a newspaper article. The waitlist was just too long from the library. After we read, I passed it on to my parents. My mom read it (she loved it) and my dad hasn't finished it yet. Then they can pass it along. You're right, Heidi does look a little like Marley. Thank goodness she doesn't act like him!!!!! And that's a great pic of Peter and Heidi :)

Thanks for comin' over to say hi!

I've really enjoye poking around here :) Funny, I just picked up this book the other day but forced myself to put it back on the shelf because I'm in need of finishing the five books I'm reading all at once before I go on another mad reading spree. Marley looks exactly like our Anna must have as a pup before we rescued her. (she ran out in front of our car...not to worry, we stopped just in time).

so glad I stumbled upon your blog here, and so very nice to 'meet' you! :)
