If i only had a brain...

I am part of this study being done by a university dealing with taste perception and recognition (better me than an animal!!) and one of the peeps working with the doctor on this study just sent me some scans of my brain from the MRI which I had done in late April of this year. It's so weird to see these...

I can say you have a truly pretty brain!
Which is really not a surprise for anybody reading your blog!
Hugs!

That is pretty cool!

I got to see my heart through an echocardiogram on Friday. Pretty interesting. Never got to see the results of my MRI a few years ago, though. Darn. ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'd love to swap links. I'll add yours today. :)

It looks better than a CT scan.

At least everything seems to be there and in one piece. I would hate to see the same scan of my college roommate.

I feel brain dead tonight! It's been a loooooooooong week. Thanks for the cool comments, all!

To kate:

I would not know my brain from anyone else's, but i recognize my nose!

To t.:

Awwwwwww! Thank you!! My brain's "work" will, I am hopeful, help women with eating disorders. That's what the study is for!

To tara:

Thank YOU. How interesting to see your heart thru an echocardiogram. I had a dog once (miss her...) who had tests done and I got to see that and her sonogram before she got further ill... Thanks for adding me :o)

To pinknest:

I never thought I'd have the opportunity to have an MRI done unless something was terribly wrong with me, so this was a neat thing for me to go with. Knowing I might help someone - anyone - was really my main reason for going through with it. Very strange sensation, the whole MRI thing!

To funwithyourfood:

Teddy, it did weird me out, believe me!! But better test on me than on an animal, as I wrote before, y'know!? It was cool, tho, once it was over and done. I don't recommend it to anyone with claustrophobic issues, that is for sure!

To peter matthes,

Your blog! OMG, it's hilarious. Thank you for commenting here with that cute doggie avatar. My best bud is a 35-yer-old Virgo named Peter... who's never been to NY as far as i know... what're the chances?!

To VeganDoc:

I'll take the good doctor's word that my brain looks vegged out!!!

These things you've been posting about veganism are humerous, but wow... someone can identify with things I see/experience in daily life. WOW!

Strange, but I meant this comment to be for you a couple of days ago and I found it another blog, ooops!....

But, now I will post it in it's rightful spot.

What a brain! The scarecrow (wizard of oz) would drool over this one!
