is this true?

Hate's a pretty strong word, but whenever someone tells me (and I hear it all the time), "I don't like (insert name of person) because (insert reason) bugs me" or something to that tune, the above comes to mind...

hate . . . i try not too . . . i loathe sometimes . . . i'm usually a pretty easygoing person though. the only thing that truly makes me angry is injustice. that sets the sparks flying from my eyes.

Great site!

This postcard is so sad. :-( Hate is an ugly word.

Once my son used the word hate in school and I leaned over and said, "sweetie, we don't hate" and he said, "we hate republicans and the yankees." I was so embarrassed! I said, "Grandpa's a Republican and we love him."

Then I paused and said, "But yeah, we do hate the Yankees."
