Awwww! So cute!
I have always been a PeTA supporter. Not always able to help financially but have bought their goodies and have been able to contribute every so often. I wonder what some of the vegan (and vegetarian and any other non non-veg) folks who kindly visit my blog here make of PeTA. I always hope they have the animals' best interest at heart. But evidently, not all is well in PeTA-land... http://veganfreaks.org/index.php?id=132
(thanks to The Veg Blog for the head's up on this)

Hi! I saw your comment over on my blog, thank you. :)
I'm not a big fan of Peta, but I won't go into it here.
I just saw my blog in your side link, thank you so much!
Hi. I've always had mixed feeling about PETA. I love how they are able to get so much media attention on vegetarian issues by using drastic measures and big name celebrities. It's hard to get the media interested unless you're doing something provocotive.
But, then reading something like gas chambers for mic really makes me wonder. I think overall they do a lot for converting people to vegetarianism....so I'm probably slightly on the pro side for Peta. But in all truth, I don't know enough about them to make an educated statement!
kleo, have good time in chicago!!
primaryconsumer, you are welcome! Thanks for visiting me!
Megan, I feel much the same as do you about PeTA. Also, I think they have more of the right ideas than the wrong ones...
kunsjoi, THANK YOU!!
I did a weekend workshop called Helping Animals 101 in NYC. The people who work for Peta were so positive and friendly and they have such a good message about veganism and doing what you can to help the cause. Although I sometimes disagree with certain things, I think they do what they need to do to bring publicity to the cause. I think there are so many positive aspects to this organization and I am a member...
