Before I go back home.. I so very want to visit farm sanctuary.. soon.. soon!
I visited the Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, NY last year, as it's only 1 1/2 hours away. What an awesome experience! For anyone with kids, this is the place to take them to meet the animals instead of the zoo.
I have wanted to visit the farm in NY! It is many hours away. I love how they feed the turkeys for thanksgiving and everyone has a vegan meal. Way to go KleoPatra
my bfriend was the volunteer coordinator for our earth day here in sac. did a damn good job too.

kunsjoi, i wanna go too!
vegandoc, that is fantastic. i would love to know what it was like; maybe sometime you could post about it (or if you already have, please direct me to your link!). i love what you wrote about taking kids there instead of the zoo to meet the animals. ABSOLUTELY!
karen, me too!! i am closer to the one in California but it's still a long ways away. i love what they do for the turkeys (and all the other animals as well!)... i'm right there with them (and you) on FS.
