Joy Ride

Is this not the total look of happiness?
The girls out for a ride in Peter's car yesterday as we prepared for a rousing game of horseshoes at Balboa Park ( http://www.balboapark.org/ ).

I never thought i'd see the day, but here it is, amazon.com is selling food. They even have "Natural & Organic" stuff at http://www.amazon.com/ but personally, i'd rather buy locally...

Happy birthday tomorrow to Rikki Rockett of the band POISON.
The vegetarian drummer boy'll be 45! Yikes... where does the time go?
A superb interview with the animal rights activist here:
http://www.famousveggie.com/interview2.cfm

(And just as a side note, U2's David Howell Evans (The Edge) is also celebrating b'day No. 45 tomorrow, and while i don't think The Edge is a veg (it would make such fine poetry though, no?) U2 co-founder Larry Mullen Jr. is... and like Rikki Rockett, he's a drummer too!)

Those are 2 happy pooches. (And a nice car!) Are they backseat drivers?

I think the dogs live better than I do. They look extremely content. It always makes me miss my dogs. They were so beautiful and they loved road trips. Gretchen would run around the house back and forth freaking out whenever she say us bring out the bags.

They look like they are smiling from ear to ear! So cute! :)

Btw, LOVE U2.

"The Edge is a veg" Lol! I like that. I think he should go veg just for the cute slogan.

Those dogs look SO happy!! Hey, I'd be happy in a convertible like that too! Lucky dogs!! :)

I had not idea RR was vegan. That is very cool, especially after going to see the show Sat night!

Those are two super happy looking puppies!

You just feel like hugging them.

I really miss my dogs who died at very old ages so were so much part of my life.

Thanks for the visit. Just remember that because something is vegan, like vegan marg, doesn't mean it is always healthy, look at the labels to see what additives they have or process used. Some are quite scary :)

Dogs + car ride = total bliss. I think we could learn something from them. The simple things just make them so happy. Great pictures. My dogs get so excited at the prospect of going in the car that if they get loose accidentally, and won't come when I call them, I grab my keys and jingle them and open the car, and in no time I have two dogs flying into the back. ;)

Oh my goodness! That is a picture of total cuteness. I just want to hug them both.
Never a big Poison fan, but did read the interview. U2, that's another story. I saw them in concert and they were awesome! I didn't know about Larry Mullen, Jr. though. Excellent!

Ride on lil' doggies! Our dog was a stary when we found her and may have been abused at one time. We used to have to give her a drug to make her sleep to get he into the car or otherwise she would immediately get sick. She got over it and loves to go in the car now.

Smilin' and happy. Those two gals have it made! How could you not just have a super great day looking at their sweet faces? They're better than any prescription anti-depressant.
