It's a PARTY!

After a yummy veg*n brunch of waffles with blueberries, peaches 'n' maple syrup at his parents' pad yesterday, Peter & i, accompanied by our four-legged furry blonde galpals, played a round of "Disc Golf" ( http://www.discgolf.com/ and http://www.discgolfassoc.com/ ) before i went to work. Today we enjoyed a vegetarian brunch at Jyoti Bihanga ( http://www.jyotibihanga.com/ ), then played horseshoes, till i meandered into work... Lots o'fun.

Calling all partiers!!
The brilliant and uber-cool Tom Scholz of BOSTON ( http://www.boston.org/tom.html ) is a long-time vegetarian, and he wrote the upbeat song "Party" (with Brad Delp), but that's not the kind of party i'm talkin' 'bout...

THIS is the one i mean:

Curious?

Hope everyone has a blessed, productive, healthy and happy week!!

Hello! Thanks for posting on my blog and for the hug. :( We've had such a horrible week missing our kitty who just passed away and I act like the only one who has ever lost a friend before! We're getting better everyday though. Thanks for the post.

I learned something new from your blog! I hadn't heard about that Veg party before and appreciate the links you posted!!

I love all the pictures of the dogs & love it that you include them in so much that you do. We take Simon everywhere we possbly can. If I could take him to work I certainly would.
I've never played discgolf. A friend of mine did once and said it was quite fun.
I like to party! I didn't know the Vegetarian Party was an actual "party". I learned something new too. I've still got hopes for the Green Party. I've voted for them in the last 3 elections. This past federal election, they were holding a seat briefly, but then lost. GRRR!! Seems like no one ever considers other parties besides the Liberals, Conservatives or the NDP, which are all pretty much the same anyway. I keep talking and I keep trying.
I left you a BB reply on my blog. HAHAHA!

Awww, love the pic of you and the dogs :) Disc golf - what fun! I've only played once but the Metroparks where I live have a few different disc golf courses. They are always packed. Wow, I checked out the link to the place where you had brunch. That looks like an awesome place to eat!!!!

I love Frisbee golf! I sued to go pretty often back in Madison, there are a couple of pretty nice free courses there.

Thanks for the education on the vegetarian party. I think that’s cool that they’re looking at making a comeback in the 2008 election.

How do you get the dogs not to chase the discs? Kozmo will chase anything you throw. Of course, he's a 3 year old puppy.

Love the dog pics, as usual, and it is cool that you take them along so much.

I had no idea there was a vegetarian party either. Interesting. :)

Hmmmm, how's that vegetarian party on women's rights? :) I may have to look into that. I could kill...er...hit...um..gently pat on the little feathery head two birds at once with that affilitation.

Thanks for the lovely pictures of your pooches. An online friend of mine just had to put down her 7 month old dog due to a fungal infection. I've been a wreck all morning. So, it's nice to see happy, healthy doggies playing frisbee on your blog.

Kleopatra, I thought of you the other day and all of your clever cartoons and sayings --

while shopping, I saw the cutest apron that I almost bought for myself (except it was almost thirty bucks!) It was unbleached cotton, and it said, in green letters across the front, "peace, love, and vegetables!"

There may have been some little flying asparagus, too. :)

Disc golf is one of my fav ways to pass a beautiful day. We have a wonderful course that goes through hiking trails at a state park near my house.

Looks like you guys had a great time!

What cute pictures - I must have missed them before.

I have yet to play disc golf. I run around a lake that has a course in the park. We actually have some discs too as Ryan used to play. I think I'd do much better at disc golf than regular golf.
