Play ball!

For better or worse, my career choice has had me working in and around the sports world for more than 20 years.

With that in mind, but more because of my love for animals and veg food being very important, i thought i would share this Web site i just found, in case anyone plans on attending any major league baseball games this summer:
http://www.soyhappy.org/venue.htm
And even if you don't go to any MLB games, it's still cool to know that some of the teams are evolving... including "my" San Diego Padres!

Raising two vegetarian boys - this is a terrific idea. I'm going to post this on my own site later on today.

I've looked at that site before and it makes me so sad because Fenway looks so lame in comparision to other stadiums. I actually emailed the people who run the site to tell them there is more available than fruit salad. It may not be vegan-friendly, but there is pizza, popcorn, ice cream and pretzels which, although not healthy, are vegetarian.

Actually, I'm going to see the Red Sox play tonite! And I'm looking forward to having a giant pretzel. mmmm.

That is so awesome! Thanks for the link, K. This is really a better time to be a vegetarian, isn't it?

Cool! I may have to catch a Dodgers game this season and enjoy my $5 veg dog with an $8 Miller Lite.

I'm not a baseball fan, but I do know that Toronto's Rogers Centre (formerly Skydome) has veg options at Blue Jays Games. They are actually very veg friendly.
We're big hockey fans. If they would only start doing this at the Air Canada Centre (and other arenas around the league) that would make me very happy.

Thanks for the great link- I saw an article about this in VegNews. Now if only my beloved Mets would jump on board. We're a NY team- you'd think we'd be a little more up to date...
