LAME - Living Among Meat Eaters, that is

Among other books I've been reading, I've been thumbing through "Living Among Meat Eaters" by Carol J. Adams for a month or so. It's an interesting read for the most part. There are chapters and bits within the chapters that are a bit melodramatic for my taste, but the book is filled with good insight and at times offers helpful advice for various situations that inevitably come up.
And it includes a handful of good-lookin' recipes as well.

I'd like your 1-10 score as well. It sounds like a 'take it or leave it' book, but then again, might be worth the time. I'll see how you score it.
Thanks for your visits and comments. We had a bit of a busy weekend despite me being sick. Back to work today, but I don't know if I can last until quitting time. Simon is still tired from the walk-a-thon!

Thank you for your comment on my blog, and what a great site you have here. The book sounds great. I am also a vegan and the statement `Living Among Meat Eaters' aroused my interest straight away. Look forward to staying in touch, best wishes, The Artist

Well written but I wasn't too fond of it. It didn't really tell me much I didn't already know. It was like it was trying to teach you how to respond or justify your choices...it certainly wasn't the angle I would ever take with my veg*nism.

So I am with you there...a bit melodramatic.
