Trippin'

<----- New York State of Mind... and below, the Rainbow Bridge really exists, and it's in CANADA!

This reminded me of the funny sign photos Candi has taken on her hikes around Washington state...

Niagara Falls from the U.S. side. Awesome, but even better to see from Canada!

Niagara Falls in New York.

Water heading toward the Falls.

Foliage nearby. Loved the colours!

More foliage as the water heads to the Falls.

My dad walked down a path as we left the actual Falls.

My dad poses on a bridge near the Falls.

The Niagara Falls Park in New York.

Something i'd never seen before and which i saw a lot of in Canada... a black squirrel. I'd only seen gray ones. Very spry, these ebony guys!

Hey girl! I tried to post last night, but Blogger ate my message and was being it's usual difficult self.
I've only ever seen Niagara Falls from the Canadian side, so I thought these pictures were great!Where I grew up, we had grey squirrels and sometimes red ones. When I moved to Ontario, I was amazed to see black squirrels too. Must be an Upper Canadian thing.
Eagerly awaiting photos of the wedding and the rest of your trip!

You're back! Yea! Pictures are great. I have been told by several people that black squirrels and grey squirrels are different species and won't occupy the same location. I don't think that is true as I see them together all the time.

You have definitely been missed. So glad you had a wonderful trip (and a happy visit with Carrie). Niagara falls looks beautiful. Marty really wants to take a trip there someday. Fall seems like a great time. Those colors are spectacular. Never knew there was a black squirrel. Thanks for enlightening!

I really cracked up at your comment about the 3.14 squash! You're too much.

I am so glad you are back. Your photos are beautiful and the falls must have been even more so up close. I've never seen a black squirrel either. He's cute!

I have "New York State of Mind" in my head right now... you seem to do that to me, Kleo! I love the music references always.

Welcome home! Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures. The colors of the foliage are amazing, and the falls must be incredible to see in person.

What wonderful photos. Someday I'll make it out that way. Hope you had as wonderful a time as it looks like. :)

She's back--yay! We missed you.

Looks like you had a great time. What amazing photos. I'm ashamed to say I've never been to the falls and I'm so close (relatively speaking, anyway).

Your dad is handsome and lokos like a character.

Yay- it looks like you had a great time in Canada (I've been checking Carrie's posts too)! I think Niagara Falls is awesome, and even better from the Canadian side. And when I moved here (Syracuse) from CA, I'd never seen a black squirrel either- but they're everywhere! Very cute and strange little creatures. Glad you had fun and welcome back!

Great to have you back. What wonderful photos, you obviously had a fabulous time.

Hopefully one day you will come to my part of the world and visit Victoria Falls. They are magnificent.

That's a funny slippery walkway sign. A cool photo would've been you posing like you were slipping in front of the sign.

I'm so happy you are back and found a bit of time to blog. You must be swamped with work, but we are appreciative to see these photos!!

Niagra is so beautiful!! I just bust out laughing at your slippery sidewalks picture!!! Yes, we have the same sense of humor!!! The picture of the man is so funny. Who draws these?!

Your dad is so cute!

Oh! A black squirrel! I first saw one a few years ago and thought I was seeing things! I did a double take, and was not sure it was for real. I love them though, they are so cute. I didn't even know they existed! Lol!

I'm happy you are home and found time to blog. :)

Loved all the pics and hearing about some of your trip. The pictures of Niagara Falls are beautiful. I haven't been there since I was a kid. I've only seen it from the Canadian side. The fall colors on the trail pic look so pretty. Love the black squirrel pic. What a great pic you got of him. Where my parents live, they have a lot of black squirrels (and gray and brown ones too). Glad your back to blogging. Missed your posts while you were away :)

Kleo! I waited around for your call, but figured you got busy or something. So sad we couldn't meet up. Sounds like you had a good trip, though.
