<----- This is the CN Tower (http://www.cntower.ca/portal/) in Toronto. I didn't take this photo but it's better than the ones i have. It was blustery and overcast when i was in Toronto so this photo taken in better weather does this edifice better justice...
84.1 for a gallon o'gas? Wow! Wait a minute now... Gas isn't cheaper; it's in litres!
This gull was hangin' out at Niagara Falls in New York. And here i thought these guys were only found hangin' out at the beach in Southern California!
Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls. From the Canadian side. Oh. My. Gosh. Lookit the peeps on the overlook! That must be quite a place to gawk. As my dad drove and my mom did her best to navigate us out of Canada en route to the airport in Buffalo, N.Y., I was hangin' out of the rental car to get this photo as we didn't have time to stop. Incredible.
Had to grab a shot of this snack stand at the airport in Buffalo... (let's hope that's a Smart Dog there!) It would only be a few hours (well, more like 7 or 8) until i saw the *real* Mattie!! My oldest sister & her two kids dog-sat the Matster while i was away.
I had a great time away but i was really glad to get back home!

Kleo, the Canadian side is magnificiant! Too bad you didn't have time to stop, but I know what it is like to not be able to wait to see the little loved ones at home. I get excited to see Killian even if I'm gone an hour!
That's a great photo you took and I hope it was a veggie dog too.
Smart Dogs are my favorite!
Great pics!
I miss Sam when I'm gone for a day, so I can imagine how you must have missed the Matster. Speaking of, we need some Mattie pics...because I just really like seeing cute doggy pics.
that gull pic reminded me of the gulls at santa monica beach.. now I'm seriously starting to miss LA.. I was just seeing the movie Crash the other day.. and I saw all the metro buses.. and the different places in LA.. and I was like.. man!!!!
I could stare at the Falls all day!
Why do waterfalls always make me feel the need to go to the bathroom?
I love the photos. Thanks for sharing.
Ooops, oops! Where have I been that I missed 3 of your posts? It's so cool, not just to see that you had a good time in Canada, but the cool family wedding. I don't know why, but I love looking at wedding photos. Sounds like a great excuse for a family reunion (how often does that happen?) and looks like everything went really well. Wow- how do you handle having so many nieces and nephews? Wait, what am I asking? If the parents can handle it, it should be a piece of cake for the aunt!
Thanks for taking us along for your trip. I love Canada.
Wow, the falls look great! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. Hmm, wonder what 84.1/litre is in Australian - we're paying about anywhere from 113 - 130! (Well, not me personally - I sold my car!)
What a nice trip to the Great White North. We're glad you're back safe and sound. East or West, home is best. That goes for North or South, too.
I lived (and loved it) in Toronto for 5 years, many moons ago, thanks for the memories Kleo! Glad you had a nice trip/visit. Huggs, G
still bummed that I missed ya. The Canadian side of NF is so magnificant! Hard to beleive it's right in our back yard here in TO.
I cannot believe how great of a shot you got from hanging out of a car window! Lol!! Niagra is huge!!!! I just showed Britty the little people in the photo; I'd never have even seen them if you hadn't mentioned it!
I'm so glad you had a good time on your trip. I know it's great to be home though, and bet you missed Mattie SO much!! :)
Hi Kleo!!
:O :O :O I Love your shot of Niagra! I can't even believe how huge it is! How small those people were shocked me! Lol!
That is a gorgeous photo of Niagara Falls you took. I got a kick out of hearing how you took it. How funny there was a snack stand named Mattie's. I'm glad you had a nice trip :)
Very cute photos! And no worries about your schedule when you were visiting - I would have loved to have met you, but there's time for that yet, someday.:-)
Did you get to try any restaurants while you were here?
Oh, I bet Mattie was soooo happy to see you! I love traveling, with ONE exception-- missing the animals!
Kleo!! We really miss you here.
There's a humungo jackpot in the lotto being drawn tonight, eh? (I had to throw that in). I told Jim this morning if we win, we're packing up Simon and driving to SAN DIEGO to visit you and Mattie. I've got my fingers crossed!
Welcome home. Canada looks fantastic but always great to be home, best wishes, The Artist
what a great photos, i was missing your blog!
I'm so jealous Kleo. I love Toronto!! Ryan and I want to go back soon.

aw welcome home!!!!
84.1 cents per litre ?? Is that Canadian? What is that in real money...like 25 cents? Just kidding; I'm sure it is comparable in both countries!!
