Cuteness (OK, i know i'm biased!) & compassion

Our Sunday at the "Dog Beach" in Coronado:

Yes, Mat got a little wet!

A beachin' trio before we started a round of horseshoes. (The only kind of horseshoes i believe in, by the way!)
The pair of peaceful and playful pals (preparing in the a.m. for a p.m. at the Pacific) strike a prolific pose at Peter's parents' pad...

***********************************************************

And deep appreciation and a round of applause for this New Delhi hospital:

Man (and woman), how I love and respect compassionate peeps!!

What great doggie pics and a shot of your man. I would love to take Penny to a doggie beach! Mattie and (what is the yellow lab's name??) sure are lucky to have such a great owner!

Wow, talk about cuties!!!!
I respect and admire compassionate, kind people too. Unfortunately, they've been in short supply in my life, in the recent past...this too will pass, I know.

happy happy, smiley doggies!!

Me wants give them good bum scratches.

Jorda loves the beach too.. she's not naturally a water dog, but she's getting more and more comfortable in it.. it's wicked cold here (the water is).. so maybe that's part of the reason.. but she just romps and prances and is soo happy there.

aww...your doggies are darling!

they call me the bird lady in my neighborhood. only becuase i'm an animal lover but every time they find an injured bird, they bring it to me. i never know what to do but i drive it all the way across town to the rehab center.

it's a duty i gladly accept.

Hi Kleo! hope you had a nice day off yesterday!@

More cute pics of Mattie! Sometimes I take Tommy (my cockatoo) outside on her leash. She hates her leash, but loves to climb in trees and rip apart leaves.

Looks like you had a fun weekend. Thanks for the post about the bird hospital. Those are some cool people!

i LOVE seeing dogs romp around at the beach. it's always so hilarious to see them run into and away from the water while they think they are kings of the world! :)

Hi! I've been trying to catch up on posts and comments. It's been a hectic week. I've heard of Bragg's, I've seen it in the store, but I've never bought it. I went to the free sample site...US addresses only. Damn!
Looks like you all had a blast at the beach. We had Simon at the dog park the other night and he got himself covered in dirt and mud. He was filthy!! So that meant bathtime! He's pretty good, except after he does a little flip-out and has to rub himself all over everything.
Enjoy your visit with Vicki. Hope for some pictures.

The pooch pics are fabulous :-) They would have a great time with Bella and Renzo, I just know it. Dog beaches are just a little bit of heaven here on earth. Fun!

So adorable! I wish I could take Dexter to the dog beach, but we are still working on his socializing and obedience skills. Last time we took him he got so overwhelmed and decided to pick a fight with a dog three times his size (I know, he’s kind of dumb that way). He’s been doing ok in small groups at the park, but I think it will be a while before we can try him out in a situation like that again.

That is so cool about the bird hospital in India. Whenever I get down about what’s wrong with the world it’s good to know that at least there’s some people out there trying to do right!
